I wanted to take the opportunity while I had y'all's attention with a GIVEAWAY!!! to introduce a new thing I will be incorporating to this blog. In my "About Me" page, I mention that I had been really into training and healthy living. And if you've followed my blog for a while, you'll know I've done things like post weekly meal plans and fitness tips. WELL. I'm going to expand upon that! I've been supremely slacking the last two years and my waistline is hating me for it. :( I came across a picture of me from back then, and while I still had a good 30-40lbs to lose at the point the picture was taken, I looked GOOD! I'm going to work hard to get back to that, and I'd love for anyone who wants to join me to follow along! My goal is to get back to where I was by Christmas this year, and down to my original goal for my birthday next year!

Here's me, two years ago, at the Scrapbook Expo in SLC, UT. My work, Roberts Crafts, had a booth there and I got to go play. That was a FUN day! :) Look at me! I had a defined chin and collarbones!! hahahaha

So here's the plan.

I met with the man who helped me get started on my weight loss journey two years ago, my old trainer and good friend Raleigh Campbell, and he's going to help me with this new feature on the blog. He and I are going to film different exercises and show how you can adapt them for either a gym setting or for at home. I know not everyone can make it to the gym. I know not everyone has time for extensive workouts. BUT We do all have time for being healthy and we owe it to ourselves to be so! :) So we'll have weekly videos and blog posts with exercise and healthy living tips, advice and whatever else we can think of to help us all out. And I'm going to start up my weekly meal plan posts again. I know how I do it isn't going to work for everyone. But I hope that someone can find something within what I post that can help them. You don't have to follow my meal plans, but maybe they'll give you an idea for dinner one night. :) Or something like that. lol

Well let me congratulate you on your journey of health and Happy Birthday!!!!! I want to age gracefully....I want to be a healthier me..it gets harder and harder as we age.....I am now 53 and fighting it all the way!!!! LOL !!!! Health Health whole foods and the rest are treats...all in moderation!!!! Cheers to you Brie! :)
Happy Birthday Briana! I hope you have a fabulous day! Now, about this weight loss/healthier you plan - i am there with you hon! I am thrilled that you are going to post tips and exercises and meals! We can all use help in this area. I pretend that I am not getting older and heavier, but the pictures I see of myself don't make me happy. My biggest problem is my belly and I don't eat healthy. I am always looking for ways to make myself and my family healthier but don't always implement what I find :) So count me in as a weight loss/healthier us cohort and know that i am following and cheering you on!

As for the giveaway, these are so cute! Not exactly my style but my teenage girls would fight over them. That being said, don't count me in for the giveaway cuz my girls don't need another reason to fight :) I am already a fan of yours on FB and a follower of your blog and I love everything you do :) Take care and good luck with your goals!

Happy happy birthday!! I know how you feel in the weight category. I struggle all the time, my problem......I LOVE chocolate. I suppose there are worse things:) Good luck on your challenge. Your projects are stunning. you are very talented. thanks for sharing.

I am a follower and as for my goal is to stay as healthy as I can
As much as I would like to lose weigh , it really is about putting myself first and eating properly
My goal this summe is to walk 5 days a week and monitor what I eat.
As for what would I like to see - easy exercises that can be done at home and really will make a difference in shaping my body
Dude, I am SO in! Both for the weight loss AND for the birthday drawing! I'd love to lose 30lbs.. really it would be great for me and my family! (especially my budget so that I can fit back into some of my clothes and not buy more!!)

Well first things first Happy Birthday Brie!! my goal ive been about 20lbs over weight for about a year now its just hard to lose at my age :) they say after 50 it giets harder and it does.. we walk alot spend alot of time at the beach but cant seem to lose weight dont eat to unhealthy but not to sure about that what i think is healty may not really be my fav salad u might think be ok but noooooo lol to many calories and lots of fat :( taco salad and ceaser my two favs anywho would to share some meals plans and see some exerscises i can do at home that dont hurt to much have a back prob of sorts i think its just from being overweight and need a good core workout so yes i would love to follow you and see if we can get fit and mayby a il slimmer soon ive been a fan her on fb for awhile you are a doll :)

Congrats on starting up again! Already a follower. Your jewelry is sooo pretty. I had gastric bypass 7 years ago and lost about 100 pounds. Over the years I gained back 40. Since I have been back to work (Sept) I have lost 29 pounds as of 3 weeks ago. Now I need to start exercising and eating different things as not to get bored. I will definitely be checking in here for ideas. tfs
