My Little Slice of Heaven
When I was a kid, I remember thinking that sunsets were Heavenly Father's way of letting us see heaven every night.
As a grown up, I don't think I was wrong in that thought process. ;)
I think I'll add these to my Print section as well. I think they'd be amazing on canvas!!

Kristen & Girls
I have had so much fun photographing everyone so far, and it was especially fun to photograph these gorgeous girls! I haven't seen Kristen since good ol' jr, high, so I was very much looking forward to catching up. We went to the downtown library in Salt Lake City. There are just so many fun places for photos there! When we started, I asked Kristen's oldest girl if there was a word I could say that would make her laugh, if she had a favorite funny word. Her word of choice was "blankie," and so every time I said "blankie" she would make sure she gave me a great big laugh. I loved it!

Travis & Marci
I had so much fun photographing Travis a couple of weeks ago, so I was absolutely excited when he asked me to do photos of him and a friend of his, Marci. Two seriously gorgeous people. They made my job easy. :)
I think it's fun seeing how different editing changes the look/feel of an image:

Winter Laughter
Here's another picture I put together, using an image I took last night at my kid's school. :) These are really fun to make! What are your favorite quotes?

Quote of the Day
On this freezing cold ACTUAL winter day (go figure!), I came across this quote and thought it would fit nicely on this picture I took at my kid's school tonight. :) I hope you enjoy it!

Morgan
My dear friend Brooke, who I worked with at Roberts, let me photograph her sweet baby girl who just turned 1! I have not had nearly enough time with either of these sweet girls. I can not get enough of little Morgan's smile! I could watch her smile and play hide and seek with me all day. Seriously. So it was such a treat getting to photograph that darling girl.
Harper
It was so much fun photographing this sweet baby today. Little Harper was absolutely adorable and super wiggly! Her mom is just the sweetest woman ever! We went to the American Fork Ampitheater and I think we got some fun shots with fantastic backlight from the setting sun.

Juicing!
Ok, so I don't have a fancy juicer or anything. But I've got a blender. And I've got tons of fruit!
I've been wanting to get into juicing for a while, but when I've researched recipes and information, I either couldn't find anything good or I'd come across a site that was just information overload! My brain tends to shut down when presented with too much information all at once. lol! I've been following Natalie Jill on Facebook, and she's come out with a smoothie/juice recipe book for download. $15. Done. I bought it and I can't wait to try them all! I went a little crazy with the fruit buying today. But I figured I could get a ton, then bag it by smoothie recipe and freeze it. Then I can just get up in the morning, pop my bag for the day in the blender, add the liquid ingredients and protein and BOOM. Smoothie time! All this fruit is enough to make over 30 smoothies. (I prepped Strawberry and Banana Heaven, Just Peachy, Fountain of Youth, Lean Peach, Tangerine Blast, PinĂ¡ Colada, Berry Blast, Beta Boost and Apple Berry. I got about 4 of each.)
I haven't been able to talk myself into trying the ones with vegetables. Yet. Next grocery shop, though, I will do the same thing for the veggie based smoothies. (In all fairness, Beta Boost has carrots. ;)
Natalie also has recipes for coffee/dessert/cocktail inspired smoothies, and a few smoothie chain knock offs. You'd think I was being paid for this endorsement, but nope. ;) I seriously just have loved following Natalie that much!
